This is Jennifer, one of the Community Moderators of Pink Pad. I've had some concerns over the recent behavior in the Teen communities. It's come to my attention that there have been a lot abusive behavior in the teens sections in general. Specifically, there have been personal attacks, name calling, and inappropriate content and fake identities. I'd like to remind you of some of the Community Guidelines.
NO PERSONAL ATTACKS: Even if you did not start the argument, we expect every member to not personally attack or name call. Slandering another member is also a form of a personal attack. A few examples of personal attacks are:
Personal Attack: Teens need to keep their legs shut.
Not a Personal Attack: I don't feel teens should have sex.
Personal Attack: This is a public forum, I can say what I want and you're stupid.
Not a Personal Attack: This is a public forum and I can express how I feel. I feel what you did was foolish.
Personal Attack: Did you see what memberX lied about being pregnant? She's insane and a total liar.
Not a Personal Attack: I've seen a girl lying about being pregnant, I just find that crazy!
NO INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT: Sexually explicit or graphic content is not allowed. We also do not allow you to share personally identifying information.
Inappropriate Content: I'm horny, tell me in detail how to masturbate. Please be specific.
Not Inappropriate Content: Is masturbation normal for a teen?
Inappropriate Content: Add me on Facebook, my email address is xxxxx@gmail.com
It is never appropriate to give out any personally identifying information such as your email address or phone number.
NO FALSE IDENTITIES:
We expect all our users to represent themselves accurately. If we find that you have created multiple identities or have mislead our members your account will be blocked and removed.
I encourage you all to take a moment to read the full Community Guidelines in the Announcements section. Please understand that we have these rules to ensure that we have a safe and supportive community. Multiple violations may result in your account being blocked or removed.
Thanks for your understanding,
Jennifer (Community Moderator)
Pink Pad is first and foremost a women's health app.
Because the types of threads like "how old am I" and "guess my age" are becoming disruptive and over running the forums, we will no longer be allowing them on the forums.
If this type of topic interests you, you will want to find another community that supports the topic.
Thank you,
BG
Hi Ladies,
Pink Pad is first and foremost a women's health app.
Because the types of threads like "rate my attractiveness" and "am I pretty" are resulting in insults and personal attacks, we will no longer be allowing them on the forums.
If this type of topic interests you, you will want to find another community that supports the topic.
Best wishes,
Zella
Please remember these rules:
Details are NOT ok
How-to's are NOT ok
It is ok to ask questions about thoughts and feelings on these subjects. It is not ok to ask for or to provide details on the physicality of sexual acts.
So if you post a question about where something goes or how to find it or use it on your own or someone else's body, it will probably be removed. Ditto for sex stories, requests to chat "live," or other explicit content.
While this may be the Teen area of Pink Pad, it is open to all age groups. And because it is a blended age community, we ask that all of our members conduct themselves as role models. If you wouldn't say something to your little sister, your teacher, or your grandmother because it would be inappropriate, then it is also inappropriate for these forums.
You can help the moderators keep this area tidy and safe for all our members by reporting content that is against the Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. There is a "Report Abuse" button on every post - use it carefully, as it will also log your reporting action.
If you prefer a more direct approach, you can also take a moment to give someone a head's up that whatever they've posted isn't a good idea. Every member has the ability to delete her own post if needed.
I know this was long, so thanks for reading all the way to the end. The "varsity" members who take the time to read the announcements and help out the newer members in understanding the rules are very much appreciated.
